A little piece/rant about what i charge for creation of digital media. (Long Version)
I believe with the evolution of technology, web and graphic design has never been easier.
I believe that in this field of work, clients are often paying way more then i think reasonable for a piece of digital media they want created. Due to my belief in this, i charge a very low amount compared to my competitors. I can create, a logo, web site, business card, anything. Just contact me.
Why?
This is for two reasons. One, i believe in a fair price for all people involved in a project. Two, many ‘Web Designers’ out there, are charging a huge amount of money for a site, even if they have a small portfolio, like myself. I think that the amount paid for a piece, should be reflected somewhat on the experience and portfolio of the designer, and the technical level of the site. You, the client, will be happy because you will be paying me a considerable amount less then what you would pay another designer too, for a site that’s just as functional and attractive.
Why do other designers charge so much?
This is because they know the client, you, have a small knowledge of how to do this kind of work, if any at all. So because of this, they think they can charge you whatever they like and get away with it. Which they have been doing for way to long, I personally don’t think this isn’t fair.
So, what am i doing about this?
My charges start at these prices,
a logo from as little as £100
a web site designed, created & hosted from as little as £250.
My goal is, to create a great quality, modern, basic & functional site for you, at an affordable price, and whilst doing so, have fun and enjoy ourselves. Throughout the process, i give excellent service, by listening to your needs, understanding them and creating a personal solution for you. I often get complimented on my fast and accurate communication, via either email, phone call or text message.
